Items 1 to 10 of 29 are show below     Go to   Next Page

M4856 - WW11 RN SUBMARINE DECK GUN OPTICS.   £105.00
A very good set of optics removed from the deck gun of a british submarine, in brown painted alloy with brass fittings, marked on mounting base Telescope Bearing No8, Mk1, with makers logo and date of 1944, the large optics which are in excellent condition have a chained brass end cover which can be transferred to a holder on the side, the single viewing optic has fine focus adjustment all in brass with a dimmer control to the side, to the rear is a water-tight screw in device which I think held a lamp for night use, a very interesting submarine item.

M4940 - WW1 BRITISH WRISTWATCH WITH COVER.   £185.00
A nice first war officers wristwatch with hinged cover to the face, the casing & lid are nickle silver or silver but I do not see hall marks, the face is white enamel, missing its protective glass but in very good condition with fine skeletal hands, the lume still being in place on the arabic numerals, apart from a little lost on number 11, the number 12 is high lighted in red, it also has a small inset seconds dial to the lower half. The inside of the lid has a serial number along with various maker marks, the main one being Brevet with a large cross over DEM and what may be a foreign silver mark. The brown leather strap looks very original to the watch, it runs well and keeps good time, the only real fault being the missing glass.

M5313 - WARTIME HANHART WRISTWATCH.   £350.00
A good, original wartime period HANHART wristwatch, almost as large as the famous chronograph watches made by the company but of standard design, with plated casing, black face, having Hanhart company name logo, nice elongated arabic numerals and small inset seconds dial, has a very good movement in good working order.

M2561 - RUSSIAN SHIPS CLOCK.   £85.00
A good russian ships clock from the 50's or 60's, with 8 day movement in good order, enclosed in a heavy cast alloy casing & glass cover with brass bezel, plain white face with arabic numerals, keeps good time.

M5197 - RAF OB/234 AIRCREW WRISTWATCH.   £246.00
A good RAF issue wristwatch, code stamped to the rear OB/234 for aircrew use, has plated case with silvered face, having arabic numerals and no maker name, has full sweep second hand, keeps good time and is a tidy watch.

M5312 - RAF 6B/159, 1940 AIRCREW WRISTWATCH.   £285.00
A very good wartime issue wristwatch for RAF pilots & aircrew, marked on the rear with AM and type code 6B/159 with serial and date mark 1940, also maker stamped G & S Co Ltd, that is Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co Ltd, well known suppliers of AM watches, has a very good plated case & glass, the face is a nice age darkened silver with arabic numerals, has a very quiet, good working movement and is fitted with a fairly recent brown leather strap.

M5037 - RAF 1940 ISSUE PILOTS WRISTWATCH.   £355.00
A very good condition RAF pilots issue wristwatch, with plated casing and stainless steel rear cover which is engraved with A.M. 6B/234 (for pilot issue) and 19635/40 making the issue date 1940, the face is black with white arabic numerals and has a white outer ring with black numerals from 0 to 60 for the full sweep seconds hand, the winder is on the opposite side to normal so may have been intended for a left handed person, or the face has been turned around so 12 is at the bottom, brown leather strap looks period to the watch, which works well and keeps good time.

M5322 - LUFTWAFFE RECON PHOTO VIEWING OPTICS & STAND.   £320.00
A luftwaffe viewer optics with its folding stand for checking recon & bombing target photo's, the stand has rails approx two feet long, on which the viewing optics are placed and can be slide from side to side. The optics are maker marked to SCHNEIDER. GOTTINGEN in a maker logo, this is the small optics firm of Jos.Schneider und Co. of Optische werke KG Gottingen, who also made other binoculars and flak glasses during the war, it is also marked with the luftwaffe FL type number of Fl 38460, the optics are clear the general condition of them and the stand is very good.

M5671 - GERMAN WW11 KM 7X50 COASTAL ARTILLERY BINOULARS.   £450.00
A decent pair of KM coastal artillery binoculars, these are D.F. 7x50, they are standard shape and have KM eagle & M on the left plate with maker logo of Carl Zeiss and ARTL & Nr 1102 on the right plate, spring fitting for rain guard is present but guard is missing, has leather neck strap. Optics are good but need cleaning, external finish is worn and well used, quite a sleepy item.

M4428 - GERMAN POCKET WATCH BY FAVOR.   £85.00
An unusual make of german pocket watch, which came from a german POW who traded it for cigarettes at the end of the war, the make is FAVOR, a brand name of a small watch making firm SCHATZLE & TSCHUDIN, started in 1909 in PFORZHEIM, inside the rear cover is the mark of a running Buffalo, the company trademark, watch is sturdy, with silver/grey face, bearing arabic numerals and having a inset seconds dial, numbers & hands are lumed, although this is missing in places, rear cover has a 1920/30's pattern design and has the stamped letters KM, this is not thought to be kriegsmarine but the owners initials, watch works well and keeps good time, although not an issue item, these watches were often bought & used by service personel.
